Transferring Your .hk Domain to Our Hosting Service: EPP Code and Authorization Code Requirements
If you have an existing .hk (including .idv.hk, .com.hk and .org.hk) domain and wish to transfer it to our hosting company, you will need to provide the EPP code or authorization code from your previous domain registrar or HKIRC. Follow the steps below to initiate the transfer process:
- Visit the Change of Registrar page on the HKIRC website.
- Scroll down to the "Change of Registrar" section.
- Under the heading "Retrieve DN Authorization Info", fill in the form:
If the provided Registrant Email Address is correct, you will receive an email containing your .hk domain's EPP code. This code is essential to initiate the transfer process with us as the new domain registrar.
After receiving the EPP code, please submit a ticket to our support team and include the code in your request. Our team will guide you through the remaining steps of the transfer process and assist you in completing the domain transfer successfully.
